Year of Grace Day 212 thought: Sadly, we all too often exhibit in our praying traits that repel the grace of God—we are proud in the spirit, boastful, critical and judgmental, stuffed with impure motives, hungry and greedy for self-righteousness. On the contrary, grace invites us to think of prayer as this wonderful opportunity to be poor in the spirit, to be meek and humble, to be merciful, to be pure in heart, to hunger and thirst for righteousness.
