Years ago, BF Skinner warned about the wrong people using behavioral conditioning techniques to control others. He was mocked. In the meantime, PR firms and so-called think tanks have been paid millions to hone those techniques to sell us goods, convince us that breathing poisoned air is good for us etc. The corporate shills in media, like Pox on news know how to cattle prod the baser brain, the tribal, territorial lizard brain, to keep people in a constant state of agitation. It floods the brain with oxytocin, which shuts down the reasoning part of the brain. Its an evolutionary fight or flight reaction. But were not running from a tiger or fighting one, so that stimulus poisons the brain. The mind shuts down or balances it out with endorphins. Then the subjects need more stimulus to feel alive...so they go back to the source of agitation. Fox, Limpnuts, Beck, WorldNet Daily,Alexx Jones, and a few dozen other frightmonger sources are the equivalent of free crack. They are the real mind numbing Soma, envisioned in Brave New World. This is my theory.
