Years ago I shut out all worldly things, from music to movies then people.. But as I grew in the Word I understood they needed me! I listen to the secular music my kids do as to rightly assess whats appropriate and when I hear something that isnt I explained to them why its not.. Being heavenly minded is good if youre an angel, but we must have balance in ALL things.. Save your scripture quoting for the plays at church, the mission field needs soldiers who can RIGHTLY divide the Word and use it that God can get the glory.. Ive heard Boosie,a little 2chainz, Wayne and Too Short.. I also have a few that are classic favs, but I understand that it only satisfies flesh..
