Years ago on American Top 40 with Kasey Kasem, I heard this long distance dedication requested by a woman whose husband had been a police officer. He was responding to a call and his car overturned, killing him. He left behind his wife and ten year old daughter. Ive thought of them over the years and wondered what ever happened to her. Did she remarry? How is the daughter doing? Its funny how you can remember something. It was the first time I have ever heard Nights In White Satin. It was her and her husbands song. She requested it for all police officers so people would remember that they are knights and protect us. So anyway if you are out there, your story isnt forgotten and you are thought of and prayed for all these years later. I dont know who you are but God does. Im sorry about your husband.
