Yellow Lab needs foster or adopter: There is an absolutely fabulous senior, female yellow lab who needs to come into our program. Her name is Buff and she is 14 years old and weighs 78 pounds. Her guardian passed away and now the roommate of the guardian is trying to find a place for her. She actually thought Buff might be too old to get adopted and had an appt to have her euthanized. We talked her out of that and assured her that we could find a foster home for sweet Buff. She passed her temperament evaluation with flying colors. The trainer who did the evaluation, who is a lab expert, said that Buff is an exceptional dog! She is sweet as can be and her fur is soft as silk. She is good with children and never met a person she didnt want to love on. She may not do well with cats, we arent sure. She would do best in a home without stairs. She wears a harness so she can get a little help with steps and getting in the car and sometimes getting up from a laying down position. If you can foster Buff, let us know. She is in Santa Cruz, CA.
