Yellow Submarine Film Premieres 17/7/1968 It first screened in the UK on July 17, 1968, the third film work of The Beatles (after A Hard Days Night, 1964 and Help !, 1965) and the most artísitico value itself as widely believed, was an animated fantasy film with the name of this song on Revolver album released in 1966. Yellow Submarine was written by Lee Minoff, produced by United Artists group and based on drawings interspersed with images Heinz Edelmann real. His psychedelic pop aesthetic was inspired by the work of artists like Andy Warhol, Martin Sharp, Alan Aldridge and Peter Blake. The story tells of Pepperland, an undersea paradise inhabited by music lovers living happily in peace, until the town is overrun by the Blue Meanies creatures who hate music. The village mayor Fred sends the old sailor in the Yellow Submarine for reinforcements and so defeat those who took away the music and joy. Fred comes to Liverpool where it contacts Ringo, George, John and Paul, who are committed to the cause and start heading to Pepperland to defeat the Blue Meanies. Voices of pesonajes were made by a group of actors and musicians in the flesh appear in the final scenes. Yellow Submarine had very good reviews from critics and the public, making cause greater interest of the filmmakers in the animation and film art.
