Yep. Born in the 60s. I got to be there when the bananna seat was invented, In fact, I had one on my $5 mens 10 speed, so my feet would reach the ground. When slip-n-slides were invented, Dad took the idea and made one in the back yard, out of 10x30ft piece of sturdy visqueen and a garden hose. We had a water slide too, after he moved the metal sided swimming pool underneath the swing set. until I was 13, my stomping grounds were 10 square blocks in Ballard. Our jungle gym was made of plumbing pipes set into concrete filled holes in the back yard. Our favorite game was trail tag, with a different course every time Dad mowed the lawn.
