Yep!! My always walking up to the bedside esp in ICU w/ a gentle presence and esp when entubated/sedated taking my fore and midfinger and placing into the patients grasp to let them know of my presence. Imagine being sedated... Unaware if ever returning home to family... Being unable to speak... And knowing things touch-and-go from a clinical perspective... My always having this belief that even if things tough or esp tough our having a responsibility to reassure those entrusted to our care... And our life being a spiritual journey... At times scoffed. It matters not... It may be one that hears where it making all the difference. It being my belief that at times our belief and regard pulling some through against seemingly insurmountable odds as I have seen it happen on any number of occasions. Creator... Our only being the hands... Maybe the heart... The real healing coming from Creator...
