Yep! While Im slaving away in the kitchen, over a hot oven, the shepherd is keeping watch. Two casserole dishes of cipaille (sea pie) for Christmas with les Gagné and some pet de soeurs (nuns farts) with the rest of the dough. These are old French Canadian recipes; the first is a mixture of meats (chicken, beef, pork) layered with dough, and the other is similar to little cinnamon buns. Mmmmmm. Actually, the shepherd was a great help and offered invaluable advice in this two day long process.
