Yes @ArifCRafiq and despite being critical to this govt, I knew this as a fact that they wanted to eliminate terrorists using any means. Among others, a very imp objective of Peace Talks was to give a mesg to army that Pak govt went to any extend & made all possible efforts for peace to bring an end to their Jawans anxiety & many other ongoing problems. Now those who helped USA to achieve this objective wil see & enjoy a Pakistan being destroyed. Another, concept which confused ppl at large is the narrative that as announced top leadership of Taliban is in NWA so an effective operation there wil eliminate terrorism from Pakistan. Terrorist activities, explosives used in these attacks, decision makers, top decision makers, planners, their supporters, their financiers .. all have nothing to NWA & everything (more than 70%) is in settled areas of Punjab, parts of Sindhv& Balochistan. A considerable population of villages and majority of lower-middle-class neighbourhoods in Punjab support terrorists & their narrative. War hysteria is no solution to this and able govt in Islamabad will have to do a lot to reverse all this & only then a very strong action & use of force will be possible. But, now hope for any good thing.
