Yes I dared, I will keep daring, this kind of abuse needs to end. Lies need to end. We need to fight for our constitution. So working on what happened to my father, here Alicia Haseldenand I are sitting through a Human Rights meeting, meeting was more like how can we not let people have their rights and how to figure out how to make it legal. I was never more disgusted. Worse as it goes on suddenly I am being told that every time my family and I step out our door that we are being aggressively panhandled? what lies, only thing I get is can you help me from a lot of people, many trying to figure out how to get back to the Mayo Clinic, yes hard to look up at the sky line. Other is their hotel. Everyone here is so polite, one of the things that I really loved about this community and always felt good about. So no do not speak lies around me as I am no coward, I am the child of an American Hero, I was raised to be brave, speak up not look away, specially when innocent people would be the ones on the line, wont allow suffrage, no cant cure being poor, but would not want to take persons rights away over that fact they are. Sad thing is I was the only American Citizen there that even dared to open their mouth. Not sure if the community even knew this was going on. I really went there to discuss pro-life and what had happen to dad. Be going back as I shall have justice, human rights is all about our rights, where best to start about the worse one that one could violate, the right to live. Either way on Monday going to go back to defend this right for the people brave enough to beg. If I passed an ordinance to protect people from panhandlers, could only have limited area, it would be my elementary schools, seriously that would be the only place I would kind of frown on this idea, but same time it is lawful right. This has to end, they want to make up laws since they cant lock them up or stop them. They want to place an area which would consist of the Mayo Clinic as a prohibited zone, if you are caught there, homeless even, it is apparent you are in distress and may be in need, possibly begging, they have the right to lock you up, incarcerate you, keep their little town area wholesome and clean. This man Attorney Terry Adkins is trying to figure out how can they do this and not be placed in jeopardy of violating the constitution, possibly be sued, as he just got informed by legislate this is a right of the people, these people are not breaking the law. Members on the board did not once tell him we will never endorse ones rights being violated. They instead seemed to think the idea well thought out. This was a human rights meeting!!!!! Makes me sick to my stomach. These commissioners should have had their own attorneys and advocates telling the man you violate the law we will see you in court. No wonder law enforcement did not understand how to protect laws, they are all mentally ill with something greasing their pockets or extremely blind. We have a constitution for a reason. Nothing wrong with a person asking for help, holding a sign, setting out a canister or top hat, making simple display on public property as they try to in extreme hardship collect enough donations to keep food on the table or roof over their head. Pretty brave person to face one and ask for a few pennies. Literal coward to say that this is offensive and they should be locked up, even go into making lies to justify their wrongful horrible fairytale so they can have it so they do not have to see the faces of the hungry in their prizes upper class areas as these people cry for mercy and begging for help. Yes this is here happening in the USA, land of the NOT free, land that forgot how to be BRAVE!!!! ~ Tammy Lee
