“Yes, and all who live desire to live godly in Messiah Yeshua will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from Whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Messiah Yeshua” (2 Timothy 3:12-15) [emphasis mine]. And: “For it is better, if it is the will of God, that you suffer for doing good than for doing evil” (1 Peter 3:17) [emphasis mine]. And: “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you” (John 15:18-19) [emphasis mine].
