Yes and most have stayed in the past, because they sensed what - TopicsExpress

Yes and most have stayed in the past, because they sensed what would happen were they to make the move, they sense the kind of criticism they will receive from all including their own families, they sense the depth of violence bubbling around in their partner, and they fear for their lives and their childrens lives. It is only when they actually work out that their childrens lives are being affected and damaged anyway by staying that they begin the move away. It is then the rest of the community and her family have to come out of their denial and get in there and help, not move away, or criticize or assume they know more than she. The final assault is the PTSD and nervous system disorders you are left with because of the failure of all of those around you, and a Government that doesnt want to upset men by coming down hard. It is easier to allow some women and children to be murdered each year than to demand men change.
