Yes, hell has truly frozen over... "MSNBC host Chris Matthews said Tuesday that President Obama has finally met his match in Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). Yes, the same person he has referred to as a political “terrorist” and compared to notorious Nazi sympathizer Father Coughlin. Matthews’ comments were made shortly after he referred to the Texas senator’s Obamacare defund strategy as “brilliant.” “I think Ted Cruz is brilliant,” Matthews said Tuesday morning during a discussion on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “The president has met his match in this guy. He set this thing up months ago with no budget agreement, therefore no appropriations, therefore the government would be completely exposed this morning, at midnight last night, to completely shut down. He knows what he’s doing,” he adds. The MSNBC host added that one thing in particular made Cruz’s strategy “brilliant”: Going after Obamacare. “It’s about the baby, Obama’s baby,” Matthews said, referring to President Obama’s landmark health care overhaul. “You can’t cut the baby in half.”"
