Yes indeed its true, history was made in my lifetime memoirs on the 14th June 2013 when I was crowned the very first Mr. Public Service Day 2013 for the entire Public Service of the Republic of Botswana. I wish to extend my gratitude to my God for ensuring that I came out victorious against all odds. Some may think that it was an easy win for me and that couldn’t be far from the truth as I faced a stiff and fierce competition from the other contestants. May I take this moment to thank everybody who was rallying behind me from the beginning of the journey to the last day of success, thank you for your support, well wishes and kind gesture. The support I got from you was overwhelming. I wish to thank my entire family especially you my wife Tiny shydo Letshwiti, my dear friend and sister Idah Maele Seoforeng, the entire Ombudsman staff including the Executive Management, Ministry of State President staff, my former colleagues at RB2 and RB1. I tried to keep my participation a secret but somehow the news leaked. Thank you to the best coaches , Mr. BDF. Botshelo Tlotso Mmolai and you Mr. Thabang Dikai. You guys were amazing. Prior to this, I had never received an award or been recognized at a national level before. Thankfulness is next to Godliness, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Look out for the victory party soon.
