Yes, its still Banned Books Week...todays book: 1984, George Orwell I also read this one in High School - what a revelation it was! To me, the world almost already seemed like it was portrayed in the book.. not much of a stretch (and now, it is much more so...). It disturbed me so much - truly horrifying...
