Yes my kids are tired after school. Yes they need more time but dont have enough time in a day. Yes, they have homework, But still, they must do chores at home. Chores like shoe washing builds character and makes them independent because there will come a time when mommy will no longer do just about anything for them. Dont let your kids be one of those 15 yr olds who still rely on kakak for everything. When kakak is gone, who must do these because your kids are so used to being waited on? You lah, who else. And you have seen your friends screaming at the kids in frustration as the kids try to take the lazy route. So even though kakak is around, you should ask yourself what tasks can your kids learn and practice everyday? So what if they make mistakes? Make them do it again correctly. This is learning. Just like math. If they make a mistake, let them practice until they get it right. Learn now because kakak will eventually leave. Its a trend now to get part timers who come only once a week. And mom cant handle everything now, can she? We are strong women, but not robots.
