Yes, my name is Skittles, and no, I dont want to hear another taste the rainbow joke. I just want to hear you tell me Im a pretty boy. The folks at the shelter say that a lot and I am beginning to think they really mean it. I feel like a pretty boy, which is why I am always smiling. I am about two years old. I have an unusual blend of colors in my coat, especially on my face, and my fur is very soft. I am a sheltie/spitz mix, so I am on the small side of medium sized. When you look at me, you probably think, Wow, what a beautiful dog. Hes just perfect. Well, I have to confess I am not quite perfect. I do have one little character flaw--- Im a little bit jealous sometimes of other dogs. I would really prefer to be an only dog, so I dont have to compete for your attention with other dogs. After all, if you have a great dog like me around, you dont need any other dogs, right? I hope wanting to be an only dog doesnt mess up my chances to get adopted. There must be lots of people who only want one dog, right? Especially one who is as friendly and sweet as I am. Especially one who will be the most loyal friend ever. Especially one who is very intelligent and eager to please. I am available for adoption at the Carroll County (Georgia) Animal Shelter. My adoption fee is $115. Thats because I have already been neutered and microchipped and dewormed. I tested negative for heartworm. I have had all my shots: rabies, parvo/distemper, and even bordatella (kennel cough).
