Yes please no homework but reading homework. Came home to my 1st grader being assigned a lot more homework. If we do everything every night, it totals 60 mins, that he does not have the attention span for after a long day at school. The recommended for his age is 20 mins. The other big problem is that a lot of the homework is parent homework. Meaning work kids cant do independently. I maybe have 2-3 hours with my kids at night by the time we sit down and do an hour of homework a piece with each of the littles, cook dinner, get baths and do other nightly routines we have zero time to just be a family and enjoy and love on one another.
