Yes, sometimes art is offensive, perhaps even downright mean. But even if art is bullying someone, it is just art. Bullets and firebombs on the other hand... Well, those types of expression have only one intention: hatred. As sad as I am for the artists and families of those slain in Paris, I feel even worse for the Muslim community. If you allow members of your religion to behave in such inhumane ways, you are only dehumanizing yourselves and your children, and spreading seeds of hate can only harvest suffering for your future. Peaceful Muslims should cast out these terrorists and shun their actions, just like how peaceful Christians do not condone the actions of the KKK or Nazis. Holy War is an oxymoron. There is nothing holy about murder. If you want to live a holy life, try appreciating art, laughing at humor, and forgiving people who upset you. I also find that the most holy and spiritual humans usually do not ever have anything to do with bullets, bombs, swords or any other form of violence. Please evolve and join the human race here in the new millennium. The Dark Ages have been over for quite some time now... Join the enlightenment, dont blow out the candles.
