Yes the Edgewater Hotel in Mentone is a beautiful and iconic building that has provided many people with happy memories from the past, but if it meant that much to all of you that want to save The Edgy instead of speeches and ribbons, why didnt you and this is for those that do not do any of the below already: a) Drink there on a regular basis b) Eat there on a regular basis c) Occasionally book a function there d) Go to Trivia night with your friends each week and then profits would have been up, money would have been re-invested and the Pub owners would have had a viable/profitable business worth keeping.Just a thought.
