Yes, the President has been factchecked on his claims regarding the use of executive power within bounds and he is correct. Republicans only seem to have an issue with the President acting on the power the people gave him as President, because they condone an egregious amount of executive power when a Republican is in office. Liberals have been angry at Obama for years for not using his power. He has only started using it in this 6th year of his presidency in order to get around obstruction that Republicans are on record saying is a deliberate strategy to deal with losing to him. Why? Because Rebekah (see above). And all of the other Rebekahs in this country who don’t deserve to be hurt just because Republicans need to score political points with their base. Republicans need to stop trying to trip the President and instead start doing something for the country. The press needs to ask Republicans why they are so mad that the President gave a raise to federal workers and took as much action as he could on responsible gun ownership. Let the President get right to the point: If Republicans are so mad that Obama had to use the power of his office to do the things that they would not do, they can stop whining and waving around lawsuit threats like spoiled children and instead actually do their jobs and be a part of the solution. “(I)f it makes Republicans in Congress mad that I’m trying to help people out, they can join me, and we’ll do it together.” Watch here:
