Yes the occupation must end -- either by a two-state or one-state solution. But if a 23rd Arab state were to be set up in Gaza, it would not be able to govern itself any better than any of the 22 other Arab League states: Nearly all of them are warring, impoverished basket cases -- and the reason is education. You are upset that Israel just bombed an educational institution because education in the west means exploration, discovery, debate, enlightenment, openness to otherness, expansion of consciousness, critical thinking ... How would the West fare if professionals and technocrats got their degrees from Bible colleges? An exception is Palestinian leader Abbas, who attended Lumumba University in Moscow -- but he graduated with a doctoral dissertation in holocaust denial. (Netanyahu graduated MIT in computers). In Muslim culture, it is improper (to put it mildly) to question authority. That is, you may not explore and find your own way or criticize. Its meaning is education. 16 mins · Edited · Like Sabra Cadabra BTW, Hamas ideological bretheren Nigeria is Boko Haram. Boko Haram means Western Education is Forbidden. They are notorious for bombing schools, murdering children who try to attend, and recently for kidnapping 300 school girls and raping them. They are a MUCH BIGGER destroyer of schools than Israel is. So tell me, why do you call for Israel to be boycotted, but not Islamists who bomb schools?
