Yes the popular church-growth gimmicks, do-anything-but-offend-them-with-the-Bible methods, and the syrupy seeker-sensitive-sinner-friendly appeals of new Babylon indeed fills the pew but poisons the soul. Never mind that it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe (1 Cor 1:21), pragmatic humanism dominates the philosophical landscape of modern evangelism. If it brings them in, it must be God, is the shallow and dangerous mentality of the new hip and clever, but sin-blinded simpletons who call themselves ministers today. As long as the lines are long, the offering plates are full, and the worldly accommodates flowing, dont expect these dumb-dogs to do anything but promote their satanic brand of Christianity. They take up all of them with the angle, they catch them in their net, and gather them in their drag: therefore they rejoice and are glad.
