Yes, this is what I have been saying because I notice the effects, both good and bad here in Sweden. This country absolutely needed to increase its population and has a much more open immigration policy than the US. But since Swedes also value education the opportunity for language instruction exists and is free. Yet many Americans complain that immigrants dont learn English. Offering free English lessons to anyone who wants to learn would be a great solution. It costs so much less to have one person teach a room of thirty than it does to support those thirty because they do not have the language skills to obtain better employment. Just my spin on this on a Sunday morning.
