Yesterday 7 AM at the Rapid Creek Markets. 2 inspectors from the banana team were doing the rounds. It was easily observed that they meticulously visited every stall with produce. My support team Thanks Arthur, was in place to record our interaction. They were within metres of our stall and totally unexpectedly they made a beeline for the corridor and Arthur and myself were left wondering why I was not deserving of their attention. My wife said she had prayed to the Buddha for us to have been avoided. I had a different opinion. I said, that these people were under specific instructions to avoid me. I must say the weather was hot and I was a little on the nose. Arthur dropped in also simply to give me some money to support the good cause because I told him I am doing all this without any reward. The inspectors were in civvies, i.e. not NT govt quarantine clothing, leading me to suspect that once again they were working for ADACO the multinational labour hire company. Kurt Ruzsicska and Peter Murakami, all Darwin born and bred have challenged them. I will get more there. Big supporters, Ron and Kay Harbeck dropped by and gave me the news that my ears did not want to hear. I had failed in my duty to pick up the ads in the paper of Saturday the 29th of November. They were from ADACO they were for the recruitment of banana inspectors? All 3 ads were believed to be interlinked. One salient feature was that they needed an ochre card for working with children. Nothing was said about dogs. Let me see if I can see the ad online. A very credible supporter in a high place finally gave me the smoking gun I had been angling for. I have to be very careful in releasing this information. Keyboard warriors with a distinct penchant for not talking on the phone cannot be part of the initial process.
