Yesterday 9:30 PM PST - Went to watch PK in one of the Regal Cinemas and reached 45 minutes before the show time. It was all sold out and they had no tickets even for morning and afternoon show for next day (today), a very few tickets were left for the evening show and luckily I grabbed them. They had to move the show to a bigger auditorium looking at the crowd. Anyways, watched today the 2.5 hours show and experienced yet another masterpiece from Raj-Vidhu-Amir. There are similarities with OMG in one of the main angles of the script, but not a copy at all. A story with manifold layers that deal with human emotions at its finest, this film is archetypal of what we call disentanglement the true human nature and at its best the Indian way of living. The business in the name of god using humans fear and religion as a medium needs to be criticized and films like this, OMG and few others definitely deserve applauds. No question on direction, outstanding Amir, a script mixed with our emotions made the movie a delight to watch. No comparison with any other movies as every movie have their own merit, rest assured go and watch PK to install the massage from the movie in your system. Rajkumar Hirani had made good movies in past and will continue to make, PK arguably may not be his best, but simply watch it on its own excellence
