Yesterday, August 6, 2014, I reached a fantastic milestone in my life; I became seventy years old! Although some may consider seventy as being old, I think of it as being an amazing gift from God, to whom I am so thankful. I spent my day sleeping, reading, watching television, putting together a zigzag puzzle , and talking with my family and friends. I received many heartfelt forms of acknowledgments: phone calls, texts, birthday cards, gifts, visits, the birthday song, and Facebook comments and likes. Kudos are being sent to my family and friends who made my birthday extra special. Roses are red; violets are blue. My birthday would have been bland if it had not been for you!
