Yesterday, CEE’s executive director, Michael Rebell, joined the Alliance for Quality Education (AQE) for its “We Can’t Wait” campaign launch event on the steps of City Hall in NYC . Rebell called for pressing for fair and sufficient sound basic education funding both politically and in the courts, as NYSER vs. the State of New York is doing. The We Can’t Wait campaign demands at least $1.9 billion in new school aid next year from the legislature.
