Yesterday, Cherokee killed a poor possum. She is a wolf and very territorial. It pains me, but there it is. It even pains Rocky the Man, who although her son, is more German Shep. than wolf in nature, and we discovered is not in favor of dead things and whimpers. I have been taking her possum kills, to the field for the Turkey buzzards. She seems to want to eradicate our corner of the South from possums. I have left them a sign, telling them not to enter, but they wont listen. About twenty minutes ago, I remembered I left the horse trailer door open and went back out to close it, but there on the garage apron was yet another poor dead possum. Rocky the Man was nowhere in sight, but Cherokee came immediately to protect her kill. Bob pulled up in his truck and I told him, it was his turn.
