Yesterday, Gene discovered a nasty rash on our handsome boy, Sams, belly. It looked so painful, and I know it was, because sweet Sam almost tried to bite Gene when he touched it. Luckily, our vet took him immediately. This is the 3rd time since we got him at the end of June that he has been treated for rashes. The first time was about 3 months after we got him, so the vet doesnt feel that it is the regular food we feed him. We were told NO treats for now (Sam lives for treats), I always add a little something into all 3 of mines dog food, but since we are trying to find out what the food allergy is, we have some hard work ahead of us. If Sam was an only dog it would be easier. Can someone who has been through finding an unknown food allergy, tell me what the likely suspects may be. I know its going to take awhile to narrow it down, so Im asking you guys for help. Thanks!!!
