Yesterday He died. Tomorrow He rises. Today, people dont think - TopicsExpress

Yesterday He died. Tomorrow He rises. Today, people dont think about too much. I like to use this day as reflection. I like to look at my life and where I am at. I have had my share of trials and tribulations such as death, loss, uncertainty, unemployment, etc. But I have been so very blessed in my life. I have a great family. My wife Courtney Stebnitz Abegglen, my daughter Liberty Abegglen, my son Carter are all huge, wonderful blessings. Even (or especially) Steffani, who was the subject of my biggest loss, was a blessing that completely changed my life more than once. Then there are my parents, blood and otherwise. I am so fortunate to have all of them. Finally, my friends. I have so many wonderful friends that I am thankful to have in my life. I also have a good job, good pay, reliable vehicles, nice house, and all of that material stuff. Why do I have all of these blessings? Do I deserve them? No, I dont. The Lord knows that I have turned my back on him many times. Yet I continue to receive blessings in addition to those that I have listed. So tonight, as you lay your head on your pillow, to sleep in your nice warm bed, reflect upon your own blessings. Reflect also upon the greatest blessing to all of mankind, the DEATH, and RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ. Think on this also tomorrow before finding your Easter eggs and having your Easter dinner. Happy Easter to all of my blessings out there.
