Yesterday I asked my neighbour where I might be able to buy a Xmas tree.....she said, we dont buy our trees in the country....we chop them down. Ill chop one down for you too. And so she did...and she brought it to us in her truck....a twelve foot pine tree with a flat back. Ive posted a cropped shot of it, because even Finn, on seeing the photos, said, Its a peculiar shape, isnt it, Nana?......nana thought, Ill show you peculiar shape.....but said, well, yes, it has a flat back. We have improvised by hanging tinsel along every horizontal feature in the house.....but I think that this will be a Xmas tree that houses very special thoughts and memories....and I just cant wait to make those memories.
