Yesterday I had to pay a visit with a Neuro Surgeon and was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis of the spine. It is extremely painful and causes constant pain in my back, legs and arms. In my case the vertebras are fusing themselves together which is drastically reducing movement. The reason I am posting this is I am even more pissed at the current medical process in this country. The surgeon wanted me to do therapy to help reduce the pain but even with BCBS I had to decline because I can not afford the treatment. I cant help but feel for those who have no insurance or health care because they are too poor to get the help they need. It is almost as if there is an effort being made to weed out the poor and less fortunate people. I could resort to the heavy pain pills at the risk of destroying my liver but I refuse to go that route. It has been a little over a year since my sister died from medically induced cirrhosis in her effort to reduce the chronic pain she suffered. I choose not to go that route and have found alternative medicine, which is illegal in Alabama, reduces the pain to very tolerable levels. Please people, get out this November and vote against those who are trying to take our health care from us and reduce the lower classes to nothing more than low paid slaves.
