Yesterday, I had to work. Craig wanted to make me breakfast. I reminded him he had work as well. And I told him I wanted a Dennys Grand Slam. He said that surely I was joking. I wasnt. Once seated, I couldnt keep my eyes off the Hispanic family over Craigs shoulder, particularly a little girl about 4 or 5, playing with an iPod touch. Craig saw I wasnt paying attention to what he was saying and asked about it. I nodded their way. He said look at them, their whole family playing with devices at breakfast. I told him that didnt matter, I was looking at the girl. Which one? The one without glasses. It took him a second and then he squeezed my hand, real hard. Aubrey, right? Yeah.
