Yesterday, I introduced the LNG Permitting Certainty and Transparency Act. This important bipartisan bill would expedite the approval process for liquefied natural gas (LNG) export permits. Thanks to the energy renaissance occurring throughout Eastern and Southeastern Ohio, and across the United States, America is capable of producing large quantities of natural gas like never before – enough to meet both our domestic demands, and positively influence the geo-political stage by selling our excess natural gas to our friends and allies. It’s time to say #Yes2Energy.
