Yesterday I lost one of my childhood best friends and I honestly - TopicsExpress

Yesterday I lost one of my childhood best friends and I honestly cant wrap my mind around it. As I was on my way to Holston Valley last night, I was hoping to walk in seeing Casey sitting up and smiling but God had other plans. It feels like a horrible nightmare I cant wake up from. The hallways at school will never be the same, because I always looked for Casey, we giggled and said hello. Or when she would come in the Drama store to buy her orange crush. I was looking forward to prom and senior trip because Casey was going. How can such a sweet, strong girl like her be taken from us? Then I begin to think, shes in a much better place and no longer suffering. Casey was a fighter, and one of the strongest. She never let her disabilities get in her way nor did she want anyone to pity her. Ill never forget the nights back in middle school or elementary school when I couldnt wait to go to her sleepover for her birthday, or when we were in Girl Scouts, those are some of my fondest memories Ill never forget. I could always count on Casey and she will always remain one of my best friends. As she made her entrance into Heaven, I know she was greeted by many. She was an inspiration to our community and will remain one. Prayers for The Begley family and the entire community. Especially for Barb, Thurman, Coleman, and Corey as they go through this difficult time. I bet you are having a glorious day flying with your beautiful angel wings. Until we meet again, pretty girl. I love you!
