Yesterday I lost someone who meant the world to me,my big sister Rita Arnetta Davis(Tinker). We grew up without our mother bc God called her home at a young age. So Rita was my big sister and sometimes my mom. She was always there to protect me from the bullies and help me with homework. We didnt talk all the time but I loved my sister very much. Words cannot express what she meant to me but the one word is true LOVE. As sisters do we would fight and didnt always see eye to eye ,but i loved her. On last Sunday i ask for the circle to pray for us to be closer and God granted that prayer. Tuesday we spoke on the phone and it was like old times. Then yesterday I got a call that changed my life forever. It feels like a whole has been punched in my chest that is never going to close. My sister was an amazing Lady, a great sister, awesome mother and a terrific wife. Thank you Pataski Davis for loving my sister so much. Rita I know I will see you again soon so tell Aunt Mineva, Uncle Bernard,Laura and especially Momma I love them and miss them very much and Im doing ok. And dont worry I will continue to look after Granny and Daddy. I Love you Rita A. Davis REST IN PEACE SIS.
