Yesterday I posted about a problem that had happened at the APHA Youth World Show. Today I am very happy to post that APHA and Larry Williams Photography has stepped up immediately to correct to problem and insure it doesnt happen again. As well as make it up to the kids it affected. Below is an email from LWP. Well done APHA and LWP. It was brought to our attention that our decision to close before the last class had been completed early Tuesday morning, caused some exhibitors and World Champions to miss their opportunity to have their World Show posed photo taken by us at the official backdrop. We offer our sincere apologies to the kids and their families. Historically, we have always remained open at the backdrop until after the last class, because those exhibitors deserve the same services that exhibitors have whose class is the first class of the day…after all…they did not set the schedule. But, usually we wait alone and do not see any winners at those late hours. We made the decision Monday night to close about 11pm and apparently it was a bad decision. We did photograph all the classes in the arena. All exhibitors are invited to view and order images and photos of their World Show experience in the arena. Those exhibitors that placed 1-10 in the World Show Youth Reining 13Under, Youth Reining 14-18 and Novice Youth Reining, may select an image from the arena. We will customize an 8x10 of that image, with your name/horse’s name/class title and placing, with our compliments. The World Champion and Reserve World Champion from Youth Reining 13Under, Youth Reining 14-18 and Novice Youth Reining shall receive a 10”x30” mounted, 3-image storyboard, customized with their name/horse’s name/class title and placing, with our compliments. Recipient’s may view and select images here with us at the show, or online; and should contact us by phone or email with their selections. The sales office at the show is available during the show from 7:30am thru the end of classes, or approximately 10pm daily, to assist and answer any questions. By phone we can be reached at 800-297-6135 or email at kw1photog@gmail. Going forward, we will ALWAYS be open from the beginning of the first class, to the end of the last class, every day of the show. Please accept our apology.
