Yesterday I received a good report from my Health Partners Cancer - TopicsExpress

Yesterday I received a good report from my Health Partners Cancer Center doctor. The Barium CT Scan "showed no obvious evidence of cancer spread." Lab tests are normal. The tumor marker CEA(Carcinoembryonic Antigen) is in the low normal range. "There were no high-risk features noted at the time of the colonoscopy nor on review of the biopsy." The cancer is Grade 1 which means that it is early in its development. I have not lost any weight nor am I anemic. After the right colon and its lymph nodes are removed, then a pathologist can determine the stage of the cancer. At that time a decision will be made whether I will receive chemotherapy. Things look hopeful that the cancer was caught early. My CaringBridge.org blog is operational. It is free and easy to join CaringBridge. Mike
