Yesterday I spent the day with my grandson, Juan Pablo. We went to rummage sales and then walked around at Swiss Days. He is such a blessing! He is so easy going and so much fun to be with. It’s amazing to think how God orchestrated things so that Juan Pablo could be my grandson. There he was, a child living in Guatemala without a grandma and I was here wanting to be a grandma. I can’t even begin to imagine all that God has in store for me in this life and for all of eternity. My pastor told me a story about a lady who asked to be buried with a fork in her hand. The son asked her why? She reminded him of when he was a child and after dinner she would tell the kids to keep their fork because the best was yet to come – dessert! God has truly showered me with desserts/blessings but I think if I had a fork right now I’d raise it up toward heaven because the best is yet to come! Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. I Corinthians 2:9. I love you Father!
