Yesterday I spent the entire day pulling my most precious things out of storage. I took Dads paintings, my favorite pictures, and a few select items into the house to decorate, then stopped for the night, leaving the rest in the garage. Today... It flooded. My books, movies, cards from my dancers, sketchbooks, photos... Ruined. Thankful we are okay, the paintings are fine, and our journals made it in, but... My heart feels so sad.
