Yesterday I spoke to the Home Secretary in the House of Commons - TopicsExpress

Yesterday I spoke to the Home Secretary in the House of Commons about the awful attack upon the citizens of France and the journalists of Charlie Hebdo last week. As we move on from those terrible acts we must accept that the priority now is to speak up against, stand up against and, where necessary, confront Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, racism and the fascist groups, like the British National Party and its derivatives, that spread such poison - as well as the vile prejudices of far too many representatives and members of UKIP. We cannot lose sight of the tolerance and harmony which is typical of our communities, a defining feature of our modern society.
