Yesterday I supported the passage of the Water for the World Act, which will increase the effectiveness of existing programs that are dedicated to safe drinking water and sanitation projects. These programs are directed to some the poorest regions in the world, where millions continue to live without access to clean water. With increased measures from Congress and other non-governmental organizations, we can increase access to the world’s most important resource.
