Yesterday I testified in court as an expert witness. Not that I am some great expert, but it went very well and seemed to be very effective. At one point there was an audible gasp from the jury when I explained the costs associated with the damages done against my clients. Later on the opposing attorney literally jumped out of his chair and objected when I talked about something that had apparently been ruled inadmissable. Then this morning, the defense decided to negotiate a settlement rather than cross-examine me.
