Yesterday, I took my kids to breakfast at a local diner. At the end of our meal, Vida (age 3) didnt want to give the restaurants toy back, and she was whining while she put it away. To my disgust, an older man made a derogatory comment about Vida and ALL FEMALES, that basically, we are all spoiled, greedy whiners. So, I had to call him and his ignorance out in front of all his equally ignorant older male buddies who just sat there and chuckled at his comment, while they were served by the women who work there. He wouldnt even look up at me from his newspaper as I spoke up about his insult. I am a proud feminist, I am dating a proud feminist, and I am raising three feminists.
