Yesterday I took my mother shopping... ...and after 12 years of living abroad, one thing definitely didnt change, but another did! My mother still manages to buy all the things she doesnt need, but forgets to buy certain things on her list. That used to annoy me so much and I would get frustrated with her. But yesterday I noticed my reaction to her forgetfulness changed. Lets remember a few things, like how our parents wont be around forever so maximise gaining rewards through them. Lets learn to implement the knowledge Allah granted us rather than just acquiring it. And remember we will be parents one day and treated by our children the same way we treated our parents.
