Yesterday I walked into the gym clearly in pain but determined to try just some light cardio then maybe stretch. I wasnt sure exactly what was wrong but as soon as my friend and contest trainer from last year Rachelle Pelletier took one look at me and heard my complaint she said, kidney infection. Of course she told me to leave which I did knowing in my heart it was the right thing to do but habit won out, despite the pain. The end result is I do have a kidney infection, with the results of my ultrasound as mentioned yesterday also showing fibroid tumors. I dont have my appointment date with the new Doctor yet so a waiting game while on antibiotics, but Im doing good and choosing to use this time to reflect on choices and priorities.
