Yesterday I was on the road all day with my grandson and at the hospital. After doing all those rounds yesterday and after leaving the hospital I decided to stop at Spanish Town Shopping Centre to buy dinner and to use the toilet which I desperately needed to use. I headed straight to the toilet, now you know I am trying so hard not to wriggle up myself, lo and behold when I reached the grill to go through to the toilet what should try to stop? A woman sitting at the grill telling me that I need to pay $50.00 to use the toilet!! I did not know whether to be angry, to stood there and pee up myself or to tell her plain and simple mi nuh got nuh money!!! All I simply said to her, I will pay you when I come out as I cant stand here, I did not wait for her response but pushed pass and go to the toilet!!!! I mean I almost wet myself and I am being stopped for $50.00 and to top it off there was no tissue in the toilet!! When I came out of the toilet just to be a decent civilized Jamaican citizen I forked out the $50.00 and gave her, it was then I realized that she was supposed to tear off a piece of tissue and give to me to use in the toilet!!! How she know how much tissue mi a guh need......if I laugh I pop up!!! Jesus Christ the things we citizens have to endure at times in this country is way out of whack!!! Waaahhhhhhhhhhh a wah $50 gone to!!! Waaahhhhhh Sam Sharpe a wah dem a duh wid yuh??????? How much fi a roll of toilet tissue?.......and these people wah mi fi pay $50.00 mi moda that is almost the price fi one roll tissue.......waahhhhhhhhh!!!! Mi can use one roll a tissue at one go inna toilet.......waaaaahhhhhhhh not even if a running belly mi got!!!!......Waaaahhhhhhh mi a bawl out like Azan!!!.......Waaaaahhhhhh all extortion prices a reach mi excretes!!!.......Waaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!! Can you imagine if mi neva hab $50 mi woulda neva get fi use di toilet!!!!
