Yesterday I was running on Duesenberg and came across a baby bird who had fallen out of his nest. His mom was circling above and the other babies were looking down at their fallen brother. I was too short to reach the nest (imagine that) but I didnt want to leave him. The homeowners didnt answer (probably hiding out inside wondering who the sweaty tattooed woman was at their door) so I proceeded to Anthony Misers house. He came right out with his step stool to help. Tony caught the baby, narrowly avoiding his dive-bombing mom, then gently placed him in the nest. Apparently he and his siblings had cabin fever because just then they all decided to jump out and disperse about the yard. Its the thought that counts though and yesterday Tony was my hero and a hero to the little bird he helped. Thanks Tony! You made my day! 🐣
